The Rug Drying Process                                 0808 101 6222

Once your rug has been fully rinsed of all excess moisture, it must be hung to dry...

Rugs which are left drying for days are at a much greater risk of developing unwanted results such as browning, dye bleed or mould contamination. Our drying method is to hang your rug in our drying room over night which is temperature and humidity controlled. Because your rug is hung up, air is able to pass over both sides of your rug with moisture being pumped out of the room by our dehumidifiers.

How do we dry your rug...

  • All the excess moisture has already been removed during our rinsing process.
  • Room temperature is controlled to allow for greater evaporation.
  • Air flow is maximised using our air movers.
  • Humidity is controlled so that water vapour in the air doesn’t reach saturation point
